VCGS International Scholarships at Newcastle University in UK, 2019

The Newcastle University (NU) is offering Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships commencing from September 2019. The Candidates of all nationalities or International are allowed to apply for the VCGS awards

The Newcastle University (officially, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne) is a public research university in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England.
The Applicant should have command good level of English Language to study at Newcastle University so that can continue further study.

  • The Applications should be submitted before due date which is April 30, 2019 and June 28, 2019. 
  • The Course Level of the Scholarship is obtainable to pursue undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree programme. 
  • The Study Subject of the Scholarships is awarded to study any of the subjects selected by the student. 
  • The benefits of the scholarships will be £4,000 and will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account to reduce the overall cost of tuition fees. 
  • The Applicants of awarded to this Scholarship to all nationalities to apply for the VCGS awards. 
  • The Number of Scholarships is five(5). 
  • This Scholarship will be given in the UK(United Kingdom)

Eligibility Criteria:


The Applicant should meet the following Criteria points:
  • Hold an offer for an allowed undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city center campus for the 2019/20 academic year 
  • Be assessed as international for fee purposes 
  • Already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equal to. 
  • Applicants from the following countries are not allowed to apply for VCGS awards as the University offers specific schemes for these countries: Algeria, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Thailand, Turkey, the USA and Vietnam. 
  • Eligible candidates will be assessed according to proof of academic capability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of application. 

Procedure of Applying:


Applications must be submitted using the online application form. Other applications will not be accepted.
