University of Sydney International Masters and PhD Scholarships (USydIS) in Australia, 2018-19

The University of Sydney (UoS) is offering the applicant for the Scholarship of master and PhD degree  at this University to apply for the University of Sydney (UoS) International Research Scholarship (USydIS). The ambition of the USydIS is to attract  excellence quality International postgraduate (Master Degree) students to undertake research projects which will enhance the University’s research activities.

Scholarship Description:

  • The  Application Should be Submitted before due date which is ongoing
  • The Fields study of scholarship is Postgraduate (Master Degree) Research Degree or Master’s by Research program in all research disciplines (but would depend on Faculty)
  • The Target group of the Scholarship is International students commencing in both the March (Research Period 2) and July (Research Period).
  • The Number of Scholarship is not recognized.
  • The Scholarship Duration of the scholarship is  up to three years with a possibility of one semester’s extension for PhD students.
  • The USydIS will cover all tuition fees &living allowance.
  • This Scholarship will be given in Australia.
  • The Host Institution of the scholarship is University of Sydney.
  • The Course of the Scholarship begin in 2019.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Applicant must meet the following points:

The applicant should be an international student starting full time enrollment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at this University. Students may also be think up until they have consumed a maximum of 6 months of course candidature.
• The applicant should be be a student undertaking study in a subject area shown by the University as within the areas of its present & emerging research strengths.
•The Applicant  should not hold a research qualification regarded to be equal to to an Australian Research Doctorate degree or if undertaking a Research Master’s (Postgraduate) degree, not hold a research qualification regarded to be equal to or higher than an Australian Research Master’s degree.
•The Applicant should not have held an Australia reward scholarship within 2 years period to starting the RTP Fee Scholarship.
• The Applicant should not be receiving a scholarship for which course tuition is a component under any other scholarship projectto which the Australian Government makes a substantial contribution.
• The Applicant should not be previously have received an RTP Fee Scholarship, unless the previous scholarship was for a Master (Postgraduate)  by Research degree that you have completed and you are now applying for a doctorate research degree.
• The Applicant should not have previously considered for the scholarship up to 3 times within the last Five (5) years.

Procedure of Applying:

To be considered for these scholarships, students should submit all the needed documents as part of their online course application. The application will be assessed on academic merit & research potential.
