Skoll MBA International Scholarships at Said Business School in UK, 2018-19

The Skoll MBA Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for incoming MBA students who pursue entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. The Scholarship provides funding and exclusive opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought-leaders and investors.

Scholarship Description:

• The Application should be submitted before due date which is 7 Sept/2 Nov 2018
• Host Institution of the scholarship is Said Business School at University of Oxford.
• The Field study of the scholarship is Full-time Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
• This scholarship is allowed to all nationalities or International Students.
• The Number of Scholarship is Up to 5 each year.
• The Benefits of the scholarship covers the full costs of tuition and college fees for the MBA programme and partial living expenses root on need, up to an additional £8,000.
• This Scholarship Will be given in UK.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Application must meet the following points:

1. Entrepreneurial action

• The Applicant have to identified chances and taken action in order to make positive social impact
• The Applicant have spent preferably minimum three (3) years driving change through entrepreneurial approaches. 

i)begun or grown a social venture
ii)OR led the expansion of a social impact initiative within an organisation
iii)OR been tackling a particular social/atmosphere issue, through a core thread that unites your work

    2. Creating impact with a focus on systems change
• The Applicant can demonstrate the outcomes and impact of your entrepreneurial action
• The Applicant impact addresses unjust systems and practice in your area of work

    3. Personal qualities of a social entrepreneur
• The Applicant are a force for positive change
• The Applicant are single-minded and persistent, with a willingness to fail and begin again
• The Applicant have bias toward action
• The Applicant have a tendency to explore your atmosphere for chances & resources
• The Applicant have a willingness to take personal &sometimes financial, risks
• The Applicant prpgress networks and leverage members to pursue mutual ambition.
• The Applicant have apprenticed with the problem* or experienced the problem you are trying to solve

     4. The Oxford MBA is critical to your career trajectory
• The Applicant can demonstrate why business education is necessary in supporting to progress your work/impact at this stage
5. Financial need
• The Applicant are in a position where the prize of the programme is a significant financial burden
• The Applicant can demonstrate the necessary for the Scholarship (for example, due to previous work experiences or personal circumstances)

Procedure of Applying:

To apply for the Skoll Scholarship, you 1st need to apply & be accepted onto the Said Business School’s MBA programme. The applicant must apply in stages 1-2 of the MBA admissions Procedure for the 2018-19 academic year.

To be considered for the scholarship, The applicant must tick the “Skoll Scholarship” box when you submit your MBA Degree application. Once you’ve received confirmation that you have been accepted the MBA programme, the Skoll Centre will send you a link to the Scholarship online application which you will need to complete.
