Postdoctoral Fellowships At UL On Early Modern And Medieval Book Culture 2018-19

The University of Limerick (UL) is offering the applicants for the Scholarship of  Postdoctoral Fellowships At UL its Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Fellowships in  create something.with the Centre for Early Modern Studies. These fellowships fund fabulous researchers looking to intensify their career development & prospects by working overseas.
The Centre for Early Modern Studies created in 2016 which supports the research activities of scholars of the history & culture of the sixteenth, seventeenth & eighteenth centuries at the UL as well as  Mary Immaculate College Limerick (MICL).

Scholarship Description:

  • The Applications  should be submitted before due date which is 12 September, 2018
  • The Study Subject of the Fellowship is awarded on Early Modern & Medieval Book Culture. Viable research themes devoted to the collection might consist but are not restricted to:
ii) The profile of the collection: analysis of subject concentrations & distribution; of the material
i) The history of the Bolton Library

  • The Course Level of the Fellowships is obtainable to follow (PhD) degree programme. 
  • The Benefits of the scholarship is to support for the preparation of the proposal to enhance the probability of success. Elected researchers will be matched to suitable mentors and will be capable to take advantage of wide-ranging help & guidance from our Research support team 
  • This scholarship is obtainable to all Nationalities or International
  • ThNumber of Scholarships is not recognized. 
  • This Scholarship will be taken in Europe (Ireland).
  • The host Institute of the scholarship is University of Limerick (UL) &  Mary Immaculate College Limerick (MICL).

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must meet the following points:
  • ·The Experienced researchers of a doctoral degree or 4 years of research involvement in,
  • The Mobility is needed to come to Europe or work in another EU country 
  • The candidate Read the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships terms & conditions to ensure you are allowed (the 2018 Guide for Applicants is obtainable here
  • The Standard European Fellowships are distributed into 8 scientific areas and provide financial support to individual researchers agreement international mobility. 
1. The researcher should be an experienced researcher (see Definitions). Periods of inactivity in research (e.g. unemployment, periods of employment outside research, parental or sick leave) do not count towards the time of research experience.

2. The researcher may be of all nationality. No age limitation apply.

3. The researcher should move or have moved from any country to the MS or AC where the beneficiary is situated. especially:
  • Short stays are distinguish by the type of activity rather than by a especially number of days. A period can only be considered as a short stay if the researcher did not reside nor have their main activity in the country during that period (like as holidays). 
  • The researcher cannot have resided his/her main activity in the country of the beneficiary for more than twelve 12 months in the three years at once before the call deadline. 
  • After the call deadline, EF-ST proposals not abide by with the EF-ST eligibility conditions but complying with the conditions of another panel will be automatically transferred there. 
  • The candidate should have full command in language and fluent speakaer.
  • For beneficiaries that are IEIO or international organizations located in a MS or an AC, the experienced researcher must not have spent more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline in the same appointing organization. 
  • The needed national service, short stays like holidays & time spent as part of a process for obtaining refugee status (under the 1951 Geneva Convention and the 1967 Protocol) are not taken into account.
