Undergraduate Postgraduate International Scholarship in New Zealand 2018-19

The Massey University College of Humanities & Social Science is inviting the full-time Scholarship to undergraduate (Bachelor), postgraduate (Master Degree) students to study in New Zealand at Massey University College of Humanities & Social Science.
This Scholarship targeted to attract highly able new International students with demonstrated academic outstanding to study in a College of Humanities & Social Sciences full-time undergraduate (Bachelor), postgraduate (Master Degree) programme.

Scholarship Description:

• The Application Should be Submitted before due date which is December 1, 2018 
• The Study Subject is awarded in the field of Humanities & Social Science.
• The Course Level is obtainable for pursuing undergraduate (Bachelor), postgraduate (Master Degree) programme. 
• The Benefits of the Scholarship Award is valued at NZD $5,000 per 120 credits enrolled, for up to the total credit value of the Programme, subject to:

i) Undergraduate (Bachelor Degree) Programme maximum: NZD $20,000 (for a 4-year programme)
ii) Postgraduate (Master Degree) Programme maximum: NZD $10,000 (for a 2-year programme)

• This Scholarship is allowed to all Nationality & International students. 
• The Number of Scholarships is not recognized. 
• This Scholarship will be given in New Zealand. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Undergraduate/Postgraduate Scholarship

The Applicant must meet the following Criteria:

• Recipients should be full-fee paying international students, who are neither citizens nor permanent residents of New Zealand or Australia, and who are enrolling for the 1st time in a programme. 
• The recipient must be registered full-time (equal to at least 120 credits per year) in an allowed undergraduate (Bachelor), postgraduate (Master Degree) programme provided by the College of Humanities & Social Sciences. 
• The Applicants must remain full-fee paying international students by the duration of their study in order to remain allowed for the scholarship. 
• Recipients must be enrolled as “internal” students (who take courses delivered by either Internal or Block mode). Students enrolling as distance or mixed mode delivery (combination of Internal and Distance courses) are not allowed to apply.
• This scholarship is not obtainable for applicants wanting to study the Doctor of Philosophy programme. 
• Continuation of the reward payment is subject to the recipient remaining in an allowed programme and maintaining the needed Grade Point Average (GPA) after the 1st & subsequent years.
• The Applicants who are already registered in a Massey University partner institution’s articulation programme and achieving advanced standing or credit transfer, are not allowed for this Scholarship.

i) For undergraduate (Bachelor’s) study: a GPA of 5.0 (B average) must be maintained
ii) For postgraduate (Master Degree) study: a GPA of 6.0 (B+ average) must be maintained

• The Scholarship is subject to the recipient meeting all programme admission requirements.
• For the ambition of this Scholarship, the academic merit is assessed as an admission Grade Point Average determined by Massey University or equal to measure, as determined by Massey University.
