Punjab Educational Endowment Fund:

The PEEF (Punjab Educational Endowment Fund) is a program governed by the Government of Punjab to create the chances for the boys and girls students become bright. The PEEF was created in 2008. The founder and key people of this foundation is chairman Shahbaz Sharif who was the CM of the Punjab that time. PEEF provide the scholarship to those students who are intelligent, Excellence and who are not good financially, who cannot afford the expenditure of the further study. The Headquarter of the PEEF is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

The (PEEF) Punjab Educational Endowment Fund is self-motivation of the Government of Punjab. In order to make it more efficient service, transparent and autonomous in its functioning, it is enrolled under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The PEEF was registered on 31st Dec. 2008 and started endowment fund was created with seed money of Rs.2 Billion and now has been increased to Rs. 8 Billion by the support of Government of Punjab. The government has promised to increase the endowment fund and do it Rs. 10 Billion during the present of FY 2012-13. Only the investment proceeds out of this fund are used for the reward of the scholarships.

The PEEF is founded with the ambition of providing Scholarships to outstanding, intelligent talented and needy students for following quality education with equal chances. The PEEF endeavors to bring best educational chances to the less privileged and outstanding, talented youth of Punjab, and bring them at par with the most lucky ones and is striving to obtain the mentioned targets:

The PEEF Scholarship is for outstanding, talented and those who is not good by financially students of Pakistan, specially Punjab, Pakistan, to bring them at par with the more lucky one's
The PEEF is also Supporting the less privileged and excellence students of PBTE, other provinces consisting Gilgit-Baltistan. Azad Kashmir, FATA, & Islamabad Capital Territory(ICT).
Creation of a critical mass of outstanding youth for the Progressive society.
The Identification and support to extremely marginalized students through special quotas.
Since the commencement of its operations in 2009; PEEF has so far rewarded more than 41000 scholarships worth more than Pk Rs. 2 billion.

PEEF Education Voucher Scheme (EVC):

The Education Voucher Scheme is also mentioning here that now we are also sponsoring educational expenditure of higher secondary level students. As a cost effective inventiveness EVS have started Voucher Card issuance for the next academic year. These cards will improve efficiency and transparency of the system for saving parent & students from too many of hassle. The PEF and EVS team helps support and encourage partner schools to upgrade to the higher secondary level.
