Balochistan Public Service Commission:


The Balochistan Province came into being in 30 April 1970 on the separate of One Unit, an administrative set up introduced by the then President of Pakistan. so, the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC) came into existence on 13th August, 1973, while during the intercede period of 1970-73, a joint Commission for Sindh & Balochistan provinces meet up with the recruitment needs of the Civil Services of Balochistan.
The (BPSC) Balochistan Public Service Commission is Governed by the Balochistan Public Service commission Act, 1989 and the BPSC (Functions) Rules ,1995 promulgated in pursuance of Article 242 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973. All the vacant posts, falling in direct recruitment quota (BPS-16 and above), are preferred to BPSC for selection of the applicant. Other than departmental examinations.

if the government departments so wish, the Commission also recommends suitable candidates for the posts below BPS-16 that fall in direct recruitment quota. Having been allowed to apply for a specific post, the applicant has to appear in written screening test/examination that consists of either motto or subject type papers or both. Passing marks vary from paper to paper and from examination to examination. Only those applicants who qualify the written test are called for viva. Final result is compiled combining scores in the written test and viva . The Commission is commence computerized & soon there will computer take care of test for posts whose applicant are screened through written target type papers.
