UCB Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award in Canada, 2018-19

University of British Columbia is offering the applicant for the Scholarship of Bachelor’s Degree students from impoverished who have obtained academic excellence and outstanding under difficult conditions. The value of awards is commensurate with demonstrated financial need, and sufficient to cover tuition prize for the accepted program of study. This Scholarship is eligible for the International Students (UK, USA, Australia, Germany, Denmark, Pakistan & Other) and applicant should have command in English language and in Education.

Scholarship Description:

International Student Award in Canada

• The application should be submitted before due date which is 1 Dec 2018. 
• The Study Level of the Scholarship is allowed undergraduate degrees offered by UBC. 
• The course level of the scholarship is awarded to the Bachelor’s Students. 
• The Scholarship is targeted to the International Students. 
• The Benefits of the Scholarship is proportional to your demonstrated financial need and sufficient to cover living expenditure and tuition prize for your degree of study. 
• The Duration of the Scholarship is up to three (3) additional years of undergraduate study or to degree completion and maintains your Canadian study permit (student visa). 
• The Number of the Scholarship is not recognized. 
• This Scholarship will be given in the country of Canada. 
• The Host institute of the Scholarship is University of British Columbia. 
• The Scholarship course will commence in 2019. 

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must meet the following criteria points:

• Applicant must be graduating or have recently graduated from a specified (SSC) senior secondary school. 
• Applicant must meet UBC’s admission requirements, consisting general & degree-specific requirements and the English Language Admission Standard. 
• Applicant must be an international student who will be studying in Canada. 
• Applicant must be applying for your 1st bachelor’s degree. 
• Applicant must demonstrate superior academic attainment (Minimum an A average or equal to Standard) and leadership potential. 
• Applicant must come from a war-torn, politically unsteady, or economically no benefits region of the world.
