George Washington University is inviting global leader’s fellowships for incoming graduate (
Master’s Degree) students. The fellowships are awarded for pursuing graduate (Master’s and doctoral) degree program.
The OGSAF (Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships) provides general information on fellowship chances for graduate (Master’s Degree) students at the George Washington University on the Foggy Bottom campus.
ii) Columbian College of Arts and Sciences,
iii) Elliott School of International Affairs,
iv) Graduate School of Education and Human Development
v) School of Business (Executive Education program is not allowed) and School of Engineering and Applied Science.
The applicant must meet the following Criteria:
The applicant holding or intending to apply for an F-1 visa (J-1 visa is eligible for Fulbright applicants only. Note that other visa types are not eligible.) And who are from the following countries or regions (chosen based on protocol arrangements and areas of the world underrepresented at GW) are eligible to apply which is mentioned above:
These Fellowships are rewarded to highly qualify incoming GW full-time graduate (Master) degree program achieving students who have obtained admission to the University.
The applicant should have command in English Language so that can continue their further study.
The Applicants should apply via the online procedure for submissions portal by the deadline which is April 5, 2019.

Scholarship Description:
- The Application should be submitted before due date which is April 5, 2019.
- The Course Level of the Fellowship is obtainable for following graduate (Master’s and Doctoral) degree program at George Washington University. \
- The Study Level of the fellowship is for Graduate students (master’s and doctoral) from Foggy Bottom on campus programs in the following schools are allowed in following:
ii) Columbian College of Arts and Sciences,
iii) Elliott School of International Affairs,
iv) Graduate School of Education and Human Development
v) School of Business (Executive Education program is not allowed) and School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Global Leaders Fellowship |
- The Benefits of the fellowship is that will cover up to 18 credit hours will be rewarded for 2019-20 (fees excluded). The grantee is to provide funds from other sources for books, living and other expenditure and must provide certification of this support. \
- A Fellowship is renewable per year for a increasing maximum of 3 years for Master’s applicants and up to 5 years for doctoral candidates.
- This award is stack able. A grantee must submit renewal materials for the Fellowship per year; renewal is fortuitous upon the grantee’s grades (GPA of 3.0 or better).
- The Fellowship is valid for 1 degree only. Fellowships apply to the fall & spring semesters. The reward for the summer sessions is by petition only and subject to obtainable funding.
- The Number of Scholarships neither is up to or equal to 3 (Three).
- This following Nationality are eligible for this fellowships:
- Students of China (PRC), Cambodia, Eastern Europe, Laos, Latin America, The Caribbean, Mongolia, Sub-Saharan Africa, U.S.S.R. Successor States & Vietnam
- The Scholarship will be given in the USA.
- The Host Institute of the Scholarship is George Washington University.
- The Course of the Scholarship will begin in 2019.
