KIAA Peking University Boya Postdoctoral International Fellowship in China, 2018

Applications are offering for Peking University Boya Postdoctoral Fellowship for young researchers to performance research in diverse branches of learning like as basic and social sciences, humanities, management, applied sciences, engineering and education. Researchers of all nationalities (UK, USA, Germany, Australia, Denmark, Pakistan  & other or International are allowed to apply for this fellowship or Scholarship.

Boya Postdoctoral Fellowship started by Peking University in 2016, which have targeted at drawing prospective young talents and outstanding throughout the world to performance postdoctoral research & pursue academic excellence at Peking University, Beijing, China.

The Applicant should have command in English Language, well Education and generally needed to provide proof of proficiency in English at the higher level needed by the University.

• The Applications should be submitted before due date which is October 15, 2018. 
• The Study level of the fellowship is for young researcher’s chances to conduct research in diverse branches of learning like as basic and , social sciences, humanities, management, applied sciences, engineering and education. 
• The Course Level of the Fellowship is obtainable to pursue Postdoctoral degree programme.
• The Benefits of the fellowship is no less than 540,000RMB (including basic annual salary, insurances, housing subsidies, etc.) and is rewarded for 24 consecutive months. 
• This fellowship is for all nationalities to apply for this fellowship. 
•  The number of the fellowships is no more than 200 for 2018 academic year and will be gifted through 2 rounds of application and selection in 2018. No more than 140 fellowships will be gifted for the 1st round and no more than 60 fellowships will be gifted for the second round. 
• The Scholarship will be given in China. 
• The Host Institute of the Scholarship is 
• The Course of the Scholarship begins in 2019. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria Points:
Selection is attention on the academic excellence and intelligence of the applicant, the quality of the proposed research project, compelling demonstration of the anticipated synergy of the proposed research project and the host institution, and the commitment of postdoctoral supervisor at Peking University. 

The excellent research proposal should consist information on how the project will advantageous from the research environments of Peking University

Researchers holding a tenure or tenure-track faculty position are not allowed to apply.

Procedure of Applying:

The applicants should clarify one faculty member at Peking University who will serve as a postdoctoral supervisor and obtain his/her written endorsement (Information about postdoc supervisors at Peking University could be found at schools, departments, institutes or centers by visiting.

All application documents must be get ready in Chinese or English and include the following:

1. Application Form of Peking University Boya Postdoctoral Fellowship (see attachment 1);
2 recommendation letters (including one from the applicant’s doctoral supervisor), the letters can be sent to the correspondent coordinators (see attachment 2) directly if the referees prefer;
1 explicit endorsement letter by the postdoc supervisor at Peking University including detailed information on the added value for the research project and a clear statement of commitment regarding the physical & psychological research atmosphere that the supervisor will provide to the fellow.
