The Applications are inviting for Australian Training Scholarships for the academic year 2018-19. which is specifically intended to help International students.this scholarship cover tuition fees and also provides a stipend.
The Flinders University is a public university it was created in 1966. The university is ranked around the world’s top four hundred 400 institutions in the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Scholarship Description:
- The Application shuld be submitted before due date which is 31 Aug 2018.
- The study level of the Scholarship is Full-time research higher degree (Research Master’s degree or Research Doctorate degree).
- The Benefits of the Scholarship covers international applicant tuition fees, a liberal living allowance paid at the rate of $27,082 (2017 rate) & an establishment allowance of up to $1,485 to help with relocation costs and airfares.
- The duration of the scholarship is three years for a Research Doctorate degree and up to two years for a Research Master’s degree.
- This Scholarship is eligible for the all Nationalities.
- The Number of the Scholarship is up to 10.
- This Scholarship will be given in Australia.
- The Host Institute of the Scholarship is Flinders University.
- The course of the Scholarship is begin in 2019.
Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates are needed to have successfully completed at least the equal to of an Australian First Class Hons degree (this is a four year degree with a main research project in the final year)
The candidates must satisfy the University’s academic entry requirements for a Master by research or Doctorate by research (PhD).
The candidates must have met the English proficiency levels set by Flinders University for international students at the time of application. The Students for whom English is a foreign language will need to provide evidence of their English language competence.
The candidates must not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status or New Zealand citizenship.

Procedure of Applying:
- The candidates must provide a certified copy of all university level academic transcripts, translated into English, please do not provide secondary school certificates or non-educational certificates or awards.
- The candidates must consists research proposal of approximately Five Hundred words in length, outlining the problem, hypothesis or question & the methodology or approach. Academic Referee Report
- The Complete Section A of two copies of the Academic Referee’s Confidential Report forms and forwards them to two referees of your elected. If possible the referees should have an stated, personal & professional knowledge of your academic ability & be able to exercise judgment of your research potential. The Academic Referee reports should be returned to iprs@flinders.edu.au by the closing date.
- CV (Curriculum Vitae) & Academic Transcripts & Research Proposal
- An updated CV outlining your work experience, the all research experience and a full list of cited publications should be consists with your application.
